LA HISPANIDAD sails its way into the Poconos, with 23 Hispanic Countries represented

Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- New York, New Jersey, PA- October 1st, 2014-  The Hispanic community is coming together to celebrate the most celebrated Hispanic event, La Hispanidad.  "We are so pleased to see the Hispanic and American communities come together to support this wonderful event.  Many local Hispanic restaurants, talent, and with the support of Pocono 96.7 have come together to support a special evening of music, food, and dancing- all in the name of Hispanidad." says Gil Coronado of CILA llc Management.

Pocono 96.7 Radio Host, Christina Luna of the hit radio show "Tu Voz con Christina" thought this was an important event to bring to the Poconos.  It was with her passion and enthusiasm, that CILA llc Managment supported this event.  Christina's radio show, "Tu Voz con Christina", which first aired on Pocono 96.7 in February, recently was expanded to 2 hours, proving the need for diverse programing, in a county that has the 3rd largest Latin population in all of Pennsylvania.  "What I love about Hispanidad is that this holiday does not recognize one country, it celebrates and unites ALL Hispanic countries for this one evening.  Christina will wear 3 Hispanic dresses through out the evening, with jewelry being provided by Jasmin Jewelers of Tannersville, PA.  Christina credits her experience from her work early on in her career with Telemundo TV and Acceso Total.

Other performers for this event include Mindstate from New Jersey, who will bring a smooth bachatta sound, along with some originals.  Also spinning on DJ duty is DJ Ruby, who has been busy pulling together the latest dance tunes from many hispanic countries.  This evening will also be highlighted by a special Flamenco dance number performed by Naomi Betancourt.

Another element of the evening will be the food and the desserts.  Sycamore Grille, Inti Cuisine (Peruvian), Los Tres Amigos (Mexican), Cucina Dominicana (Dominican), and Inca's Wallpa (Peruvian) will provide food to the 100 guests of LA HISPANIDAD.  Sonia's Sweet Inspirations will be providing 7 authentic Hispanic desserts including Mexican Wedding Cookies, Flan, Dulce con Leche, Rice Pudding and more.  Sycamore Grille will also be providing special drinks from several of the Hispanic Countries, adding another element of culture and flair.  Also, Smokers Den will be providing cigars to LA HISPANIDAD guests.   "When I heard of this event, I knew I wanted to be a supportive part of it.  Cigars are a part of the latin culture and lifestyle, so this made perfect sense to participate," says Louis Lopez, President of Smokers Den.


This International themed event will represent all 23 Hispanic countries through food, decor, dance, music, and desserts.  These countries include Spain, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela, Equatorial Guinea, The Phillipines and Western Sahara.
