Waste Management Company, 707, Celebrates Fifth Anniversary with Record Growth

YORKSHIRE, U.K. - Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- 707, a waste management and recycling company based in Yorkshire, is marking its fifth anniversary with a head office expansion. The company plans to see the business double in size over the next five years, with a target turnover of £13 million.

707 have been at the forefront of the green waste industry since their launch in July 2009. Inspired by Live Aid, a three-man team went on a mission to become the most ethical and environmentally-friendly business in the UK! They formed a company with the intention of helping to make zero-landfill a reality.

Today the company has grown to a 34-strong team and has achieved a £6.5 million turnover.

Managing Director, David Adams, reflects on the company’s goals – ““The next biggest challenge for our industry is changing people’s perception about waste.  We need to truly look at waste products and packaging at the research and development stage and not at the point when it is thrown away,” said David.

“We will continue to give excellent service at a reasonable price and continue to promote waste as a resource, and not just something we put into the ground and forget about.”
