CO Attorney General Candidate Responds To False Allegations Regarding Unpaid Child Support

DENVER - Sept. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Just this week a blogger and stand-in radio host decided to publish false allegations that David K Williams, Libertarian candidate for Colorado Attorney General, was guilty of unpaid child support for his daughter.

This claim was quickly squashed as Wiliams, a very involved single father, has not been ordered to pay child support.

Sadly, the accusations do not end there, and there are now new phony allegations including failure to make payments toward the child's private school tuition, and threats of continued public harassment.

"I am so disappointed that my daughter's schooling has been brought up as a public negotiation tool between two adults," said Williams. "I continue to make payments towards my child's private school tuition as per an earlier agreement. That agreement is expiring and my ex-wife and I are currently in talks of how to handle the matter beyond that agreement. I cannot comment on details as this is an ongoing settlement discussion between parents, not a topic for public fodder and speculation. But I cannot express to you enough how saddened I am that my little girl is being used as a tactic for personal and political gains."
