Chitram Ltd. announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Tamil Television

Sept. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- 01/09/2014 – Paris, France: Chitram Ltd. announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Tamil Television Network (TTN) for Live & On-Demand global distribution of the TTN Television Channel through the streaming service ChitramTV™.

This service will be offered to customers worldwide and will be available in all ChitramTV packages. This includes the existing customers where the channel will automatically be integrated into the service as well as for new customers and it is available on the devices Chitram STAR HD and Chitram GALAXY HD.

Tamil Television Network (TTN) is a France-based Tamil language (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamil_language)satellite television channel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellite_television). Its main audience are Sri Lankan Tamils (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sri_Lankan_Tamil) living in Europe, Australia and the Middle East. The channel mainly broadcast films, live broadcast of football (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_football), crickets matches (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket) and news. Having emerged from the 1997 Paris based Radio Asia (founded by Sabapathy Suppiah Kuhanathan, editor of Eelanadu) launching Tamil Radio & Television (TRT), the first Tamil-language TV station outside India (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India), TTN is one of the most traditional Tamil broadcasting channels.
