Smiles for Survivors Founder and Executive Director Dr. Olya Banchik to Speak at Women 2.0

LAS VEGAS - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- What:          Smiles for Survivors Foundation (SFS) founder and executive director Dr. Olya Banchik will discuss her experience as a non-profit founder at Women 2.0 City Meetup. In a TED Talk style presentation, Dr. Banchik will discuss the challenges and rewards of breaking new ground and building an organization that is inspired to create change.

Established in 2010, SFS is the first non-profit organization in the United States to start a conversation about cancer treatment’s devastating side effects on oral health. Creating a network of dentists who offer treatment to financially challenged breast cancer patients, since its inception SFS has restored the oral health of over 20 patients in Las Vegas and has preformed over 130 procedures. The non-profit recently expanded to Phoenix and Reno.

Women 2.0 is a monthly networking event to promote new networks amongst the entire technology ecosystem in innovative cities around the world. This event is open to those who work, start, and fund companies. Both women and men are invited to attend.
