Performex Raises $10,000 for Challenged Athletes Foundation

IRVINE, Calif. - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- September 24, 2014, Irvine, CA - Performex® helped raise $10,000 for the Challenged Athletes Foundation® (CAF) in the past week. About two thirds of the funding was generated from the Daniel Goleman speaking event at the University of California, Irvine on September 16, 2014 and the remaining portion was donated directly by Performex® to bring the total to $10,000. As event sponsor for the Goleman speaking event, Performex® was given the choice of charities to receive a majority of the proceeds from the event. Performex® CEO Eric Bruce consulted with Össur®, one of their key clients in Orange County who suggested CAF. “We’re pleased to support an organization that makes an impact such as The Challenged Athlete Foundation. Their commitment to helping individuals with physical challenges is an inspiration for all,” said Bruce.
