For filmmakers, the most exciting thing about this year's festival is the expanded Distribution Expo. The Expo will feature top faith-based distributor Pure Flix as well as Bridgestone Media and several others. Every distributor is looking for content at this year's festival, providing the opportunity for attendees to pitch and sell their film.
Various packages are provided for admittance to the festival, including special packages for locals to the Hilton Head and the surrounding areas. Many of the packages include all-access festival passes, screening choices, workshop opportunities and resort stays. Tickets are also available.
The festival also gives back to the Christian community, in hopes to grow local and state-wide congregations. This year the festival has added a Ministry Partnership opportunity that includes significant donations to partner ministries. KCFF hopes that this will help grow ministries and raise awareness of the impact Christian films are making throughout the nation.
