National Honor Society membership increases at Branson School Online

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Branson School District RE-82 and Branson School Online are proud to start the 2014-2015 school year off by the addition of  12 inductees  to the National Honor Society.  The induction celebration was conducted at the schools September back to school event.  Branson School District RE-82 has 43 students in honor society.  Branson School Online has 17 students in National Honor Society (Grades 10-12) and 15 students (Grades 7-9) in National Junior Honor Society.  Additionally, there are 7 Branson School Online students in 5^th & 6^th grades that are members of  National Elementary Honor Society.

The National Honor Society (NHS) was established in 1921.  Students who become members of the National Honor Society are expected to pursue  academic excellence, community improvement, and personal development.
