Another Jewel in the Crown for Jain International Residential School

BANGALORE, India - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Jain International Residential School (JIRS) has been ranked no.1 in Karnataka and ranked no.5 in India amongst top co-ed boarding schools in the country by Education World India School Rankings 2014. ‘Education World’ (EW) is a human resource development magazine specializing in educational news. The magazine conducts large scale surveys to determine the best day, boarding and international schools in the country. JIRS has been performing consistently each year in the rankings. The school was felicitated at an award function in New Delhi in September for this year’s ranking.

The school has been steadily moving up the rankings ladder each year by offering some of the best infrastructural facilities, laying emphasis on sports training,  and adopting new age academic curriculum. In the breed of international residential schools in the country, JIRS has earned itself prominent reputation for its innovative infrastructure and encouragement for sports.

The founder of the school Dr. Chenraj Roychand believes the students at JIRS undergo complete transformation. Giving sufficient exposure to sports, the students are offered training in well over 13 sports, at the same time the school focuses on improving the academic performance as well. Education World Ranking gauges the school on 14 parameters of educational excellence including academic reputation, faculty competence, leadership quality and sports education. ‘Education World’ researches on these parameters with the help of a Delhi-based market research and opinion polls agency called C Fore. ‘Education World’ officials say that over 8, 263 parents, educationists, principals and teachers from 25 cities were interviewed to compile the rankings list of 2014.
