Alphagraffix Unveils Food Truck Vehicle Wrap Installation

OKLAHOMA CITY - Sept. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Alphagraffix & Signs, Oklahoma City’s premiere sign company, recently unveiled a major vehicle wrap project involving Lady Di Travlin Diner food truck. The months-long project started with logo design for the startup food business, culminating in artwork development and installation of the auto wrap on the food truck. The logo was based on a caricature of the business owner while the overall wrap design was inspired by 1950s diner theme.

While Alphagraffix has a long history of providing signs and auto wraps for businesses in the Oklahoma City metro area, the Lady Di project was of particular importance because of an increasing interest in food trucks. Well-designed food trucks enhance business visibility, drawing customers on sheer interest alone. At the same time, the auto wrap becomes a mobile billboard that operates 24/7 without additional advertising expenses after the initial installation costs. Lady Di Travlin Diner expects to deliver its hot and fresh specialties in locations all over the Oklahoma City Metro area.

Among its food truck fare, Lady Di considers the Twisted Sister as its most popular specialty. It is essentially a potato that is spiral sliced and deep fried to mouth-watering goodness and crowned with a selection of topping choices including chili and cheese. Dessert options include yummy fried Oreos. Lady Di Travlin Diner used the unveiling of the completed auto wrap installation to introduce its food truck menu to locals who showed up at the Alphagraffix location for the big reveal.

According to Brandan Krieger of Alphagraffix, this project was a non-standard van wrap that involved collaboration by both parties. The design phase was pretty involved to capture the right 50s diner effect using a checker board design of black, yellow and red. The parties explored various strategies that would ensure visibility and interest while remaining true to the client’s chosen theme.
