Guinness World Records Shoots Amazing Photographs of Record Holder

After months of keeping it “secret” per their agreement with the Guinness World Records, Carousel Candies on Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf was thrilled to see photos displayed in the recently published 2015 Guinness Book of World Records.

A series of great photos of Nick “The Lick” Stoeberl in Carousel Candies on  Fisherman’s Wharf is also featured on the homepage of the website, www.guinnessworldrecords.com and Nick is also featured in over 3 million copies of the 60th Anniversary edition Guinness World Records 2015 book, which credits Carousel Candies on page 252. The book is distributed in more than 100 countries and translated into 20 languages, making it one of the best-selling books of all time. The book is now on sale at most retailers, including Costco.

Twenty-four-year-old artist and comedian, Nick Stoeberl, originally from Monterey and now living in Santa Cruz, CA was judged to have the world record longest tongue measuring 3.97 inches long from its tip to the middle of the closed top lip.  He will performing at Don Quixote’s in Ben Lomond on September 25th on Party Animal Radio Comedy Night. Nick is also hosting "The Fourth Coming" a huge rock n roll show on November 8th, featuring the modern life, slack, requiem, and headlining local phenomenon, Moses Nose in the King City Room of the Monterey County Fair & Event Center.

During the photo shoot at Carousel Candies on Fisherman’s Wharf, Elizabeth Elves, the granddaughter of owners Rick and Liz Elves, was shown with a look of surprise as Nick started to take a lick of her ice cream cone. Nick was also shown licking Carousel Candies Six-Flavor Lollipop and his own ice cream cone!
