Follow on Google News | Community Arts Festival- September 27, 2014By: Bizwire The festival will host an arts and crafts show and sale that includes jewelry, knitted items, paintings, ceramics, textiles and wood carvings, all handcrafted by artisans from Durham and the surrounding areas. Information about submitting a photo can be obtained by sending an email to tapcfestival@ Live music will be presented throughout the day and will include performances by several local bands: Over the Creek String Band, The Coin, blues guitarist Heath Tuttle and possibly others- stay tuned to the TAPC Facebook page for the latest lineup. The day will be capped with a performance of Harry Jansen accompanying silent movies on the organ. Some of Durham’s finest food trucks will be on site to serve the hungry crowd, including MaMa Dukes (an upscale eclectic mix of Mediterranean, Asian and BBQ), Will and Pops (Burgers and Grilled Cheese) and The Parlour (Hand Made Ice Cream). Childcare will be available on the church playground. Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church is located at 927 W. Trinity Avenue between Gregson and Duke Streets. Parking will be east of the church on Trinity Avenue in the church parking lot and the Durham School of the Arts parking lot.
