MIAMI - Sept. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Wynwood - House of Art in collaboration with Walk on Mine campaign has announced it will host the first all LGBT Event on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the ingenious space, House of Art, located in Miami’s Art District. The event will feature a blend of youthful LGBT oriented musicians, poets, fashion informal showcase and designers, curated by Henrique Souza. Come join us in this celebration of life, diversity, and love.

This is event is also the 2nd drop off for the campaign, Walk on Mine. Everyone who is invited to attend is asked to bring in a pair of those forgotten shoes you store in the back of your closet or under your bed. This initiative is brought to you by Henrique Souza, the creative mind behind House of Art.

The highlight of the evening is our LGBT youth. Graphic  Designer & artist Laura Pol will be exhibiting "Fragmented Reality" which takes on a modern and minimalistic approach and deconstructs the reality and naturalness of life and its seasons. In addition, Segovia Amil will be exhibiting her poetry by doing a live writing display accompanied with film and music. Rach Larralde calls it her “own genre of  a mixture between Alternative and Pop-Rock." Another one of musicians is Amy Perez, combines elements of her percussive background with basic piano and guitar riffs, and delivers an entirely new approach for absorption in the world of music. Joshua Veasey has a vision to always captivate and provide a social commentary with his conceptual fashion designs. Spring Up Bow Ties shares a message, “In a world that takes so much away from us, we have to be intentional about giving back to ourselves. Our bow ties are a metaphor for self-care and self-love.”Vinicius De Oliveira series, “SUPPLANTING”, touches the subjects of humanism, consumerism, and culture his work ideally centers the standards of human nature. Nadia Wolff uses her work to examine the intersections of non-binary gender, hyperfemininity, and the projections of identity in this series,”The Crutches We Decry.”
