Follow on Google News | ![]() Ticonderoga Federal Credit Union to Host Fraud Awareness and Prevention SeminarThe complimentary workshop will take place Tuesday, October 14th, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the Best Western in Ticonderoga and will be presented by Diane Vetrone, Fraud Analyst with TFCU’s credit card partner, Covera. Diane Vetrone will educate attendees about the best practices of using their credit cards, including how to keep themselves protected. They’ll learn which behaviors put cardholders at risk and which behaviors can help keep their accounts safe. Ms. Vetrone will discuss various forms of fraud including identity theft and teach how to protect oneself. Frequently asked questions and concerns for each topic will also be discussed. “Raising awareness of fraud in its various forms is part of the Credit Union’s mission to serve our community. We are pleased to offer this seminar in hopes of helping our members protect themselves from becoming victims of fraud,” said Shawn Hayes, TFCU President and CEO. Diane Vetrone brings extensive credit union experience to her role as Fraud Analyst at Covera. She has held positions of increasing responsibility over her tenure in the credit union industry and brings this experience and enthusiasm for the credit union movement to her role as Fraud Analyst at Covera.
