The Lander One Shot Antelope Hunt is one of the most unique sporting events in the world today. This was Captain Givens third year attending the event.

“Antelope down!!! 225 yards with open sights using Trusty Rusty, a Remington 1903- A3. “I issued, accepted, and executed the iron sight challenge," said Captain Troy Givens, 28, of Eugene Oregon. “For many of us who were severely injured we were told the chances of us ever doing anything such as hunting would be slim and none. The kill is but a small part of the hunt; it’s the testing of skills, willpower, mental endurance, physical boundaries and knowing you have accomplished what you once told would never happen.” Hunting provides me with the opportunity to push myself physically, mentally, and emotionally to my limits.Hunting provides me with the opportunity to push myself physically, mentally, and emotionally to my limits.
