Legendary Rock Star Carmine Appice provides insights to his unique rock and roll world on Classic Artists Today, nationally syndicated radio show

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Sept. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Classic Artists Today, a nationally syndicated radio show, has added legendary drummer Carmine Appice as a presenter on their shows.  "Where In The World Is Carmine?"  premiers on September 22, 2014 as a segment within the show, where Carmine joins host Ray White in providing his insight into the hectic life of a world-renowned rock star.

Carmine Appice is the co-founder of the 1960's band Vanilla Fudge and Cactus.  Another high profile time during his career was during the late 1970's and early 1980's when he was the drummer for Rod Stewart.

Classic Artists Today, features "new" songs by "classic" rock and pop bands and performers and is broadcast by their radio affiliates over 35 times a week.  Affiliates carrying the one-hour weekly show are located throughout North America, the Caribbean and Europe.

"I picked Classic Artists Today to air my Where In The World Is Carmine segment because their format reaches the audience that I've been looking to reach nationally.  Ray is very knowledgeable about the classic rock segment of the music industry and I feel it would be a lot of fun to do it with him and his company's syndicated radio show," Appice said.

"We're honored to have an artist who has left his mark all over rock music, as a part of our show,"  White states.  "The musicians who Carmine has played with and continues to collaborate with today, are at the heart of the rock music genre.  To be able to get first hand updates providing insights into his projects, and travels, opens up a whole new dimension for our show - and our listeners," White added.

Classic Artists Today has been carried by radio stations for nearly 9 years.  Over 150 nationally-known musicians have appeared on the show.  For additional information about the show visit www.classicartiststoday.com and www.facebook.com/classicartiststoday
