The Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association Hosting Fundraiser Oct. 4th at America On Wheels

BETHLEHEM, PA--An exquisite evening of art, wine and live music awaits those attending “Arts on the Move,” a silent art auction and fundraiser benefiting the Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association’s Lehigh Valley Music Awards Scholarship Fund, Oct. 4, 7 p.m., at the America on Wheels Museum, 5 N. Front St., Allentown. Tickets are $20 and include admission to the event and museum, as well two complementary glasses of wine. They can be purchased at www.glvma.org, GLVMA’s Facebook page, or at the museum on the day of the event.

At Arts on the Move, attendees will mingle with the area’s top fine artists while enjoying a magnificent selection of wines and light fare from the Starving Artist Winery. They’ll also have the opportunity to bid on their favorite works of art while enjoying live music by The Sarah Ayers & James Supra Quartet with Andy Killcoyne and Mitch Shelly; the Connie Edinger and Tom Marchak Duo; and harpist Grace Adele. Host for the evening is George Wacker of Discover Lehigh Valley; the first 50 guests to arrive will receive an exclusive gift bag.

Proceeds from Arts on the Move will benefit the LVMA Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to high school seniors who are pursuing a higher education degree in music. Scholarships are awarded annually at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards, which take place each spring at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks. The next LVMA are set for March 8, 2015.

Arts on the Move is sponsored by the Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association, the America on Wheels Museum and the Starving Artist Winery. Sound is provided by City Entertainment Systems, and artists are organized by Thirteen Butterflies Productions.
