During the third weekend of August the Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà, located in Corrubbio di San Pietro in Cariano part of the Verona province, hosted the wedding of a two families of the high Romanian society. The couple has chosen the location in Valpolicella for the wonderful natural landscapes, the contemporary element of the art collection exposed at the Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà and the privacy that the structure can provide. The event began on Friday August 22nd with the BBQ by the pool, where it was created a setting of a real A-list Bel Air party, thanks to a selection of modern furniture, sided by a buffet of extraordinary fish and meat cuts all enhanced by the saxophonist/ Saturday August 23rd was the day of the ceremony and the wedding reception, both took place between the walls of the venetian villa. The ceremony has been in the most traditional Orthodox manner, even if it took place in the main hall decorated with pieces of the most influential contemporary artists. All the guests had the chance to splurge with some of the best dresses of the Italian fashion design, that blended perfectly with the atmosphere of the hotel. At the end of the ceremony the wedded couple and their guests enjoyed an aperitif of Bisol Jeio, served with its famous Australian Ibiscus, submerse in the bubbles of the Prosecco di Valdobiadene DOCG. At the end of the aperitif, the real party wedding started. The dinner, served under the stars in front of the majestic villa around the fountain, was personally catered by a Michelin Starred Chef, that has delighted all the guests with dishes from the traditions, re-visited in contemporary style, and all matched with 4 moments of musical entertainment that told the history of Italian music. The dinner ended with a marvelous wedding cake, carefully created by the master cake designers to look like an art piece. They took inspiration from the lamps exposed on the front of the Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà, a creation of the French artist Jean-Michael Otonielle. The party continued with the grand finale of the fireworks, that shine on the Italian gardens of Villa Amistà and the skyline of the Valpolicella hills on the notes of the most famous song by Whitney Houston – “Will always love you”. The Guests then moved indoor in the main lounge of the hotel to get wild on the dancefloor with modern music mixed with Italian classics and light effects that filled with colors the villa until early morning. On the third day the festivities have been characterized by a relaxing excursion, during which the guests had the chance to admire the beauty of Lake Garda, to arrive on the Isola Borghese and spend an afternoon in the botanical gardens of the Renaissance villa.
