New Features at Southern California Wedding Venue

TEMECULA, Calif. - Sept. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Villa de Amore in Southern California's Temecula Wine Region, enjoys its well deserved reputation as one of the finest wedding venues in California. This year has seen some new additions to the property making it even more special.

One of this year's more notable additions is the new swing. Eileen Rivard, Owner of Villa de Amore says, “I'm always on the lookout for items that will add to the overall experience we provide our couples and their guests. I have always loved swings, especially large tree swings, but we don't have any really mature oak trees on the grounds so I had to improvise."

Eileen continues, "I had a large beam from my grandfather's old barn in Michigan. It was in great condition and large enough to hold a small wedding party, we just needed some kind of structure to hang it from. I was thinking that we could build a frame from other old lumber, but then found something perfect for it: an old rusty metal A-frame structure from the Long Beach Shipyards. It looks like it was built in the 1950's and had been used to hoist engines out of boats. Now we just needed to attach the swing to the A-frame, I was thinking of using heavy rope but when I found some old rusty anchor chain and I knew that it was perfect.”

Eileen goes on, “We placed the swing in a great location underneath some of our sycamore trees so its always nice and shady. It's in its own little spot away from the main courtyard and patio areas, a great conversation area for people to  hang out and catch up with with each other. Our photographers are also finding it a wonderful location for taking wedding party photos.”

The new swing is only one of the additions at the Villa de Amore this year. They have also add another large water fountain as well as a new sign at the entrance to the estate. “We are planning on updating and adding new things at the Villa, big and small.” says Eileen, “There are hundreds of wedding venues in Southern California and with us being right in the middle of San Diego and Orange County we are focused on being the best! And not just the best looking wedding facility, but also offering the best Wedding Packages.
