Story Planet announces writers’ workshop series with Anthony De Sa, Teresa Toten, Brian Francis

Toronto, Sept. 8, 2014 — Story Planet is delighted to announce its first workshop series for adults, The Write Space: A Workshop Series for Aspiring Writers.
 
TORONTO - Sept. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- The series will feature workshops led by some of Canada's brightest writing stars including:

·      2014 Toronto Book Award nominee Anthony De Sa on The Writing Experience

·      Canada Reads finalist Brian Francis on Social Media and Self-Publishing

·      Coach House Books Editorial Director Alana Wilcox on Publishing

·      National-bestselling mystery novelist Andrew Pyper on Story Ideas

·      Governor General's Award winner Teresa Toten on Character Development

This six-week workshop series will run every other Thursday at Story Planet, 1165 Bloor Street West, starting on Oct. 2 through to Dec. 11.

People can purchase single tickets or packages of 3 or 6 sessions.

Story Planet has an inclusivity policy that strives to make workshops and programs available to all who wish to participate. For those who can offer more than the ticket price, your generosity will help those who are not able to cover the full cost of the sessions.

All proceeds from this workshop series will benefit Story Planet's free writing and arts programming.
