Follow on Google News | "Israel and the U.S." - a FREE World Affairs Forum Event, 9/22/14All are invited to a free World Affairs Forum Great Decisions event featuring Seth Anziska of Columbia University. Anziska will speak on “Israel and the U.S.”. New Canaan Library, 9/22/14, 7-8:30 pm.
Seth Anziska is in the History department at Columbia University and has interests in the Middle East, US foreign relations, and modern Jewish history. His dissertation explored the relationship between Israel, the Palestinians, and the United States from the Camp David Accords through the war in Lebanon and the first Intifada. Anziska received his BA in History, cum laude, from Columbia and his M. Phil. in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from St. Antony’s College, Oxford. He has been the recipient of the Boren and Wexner fellowships and was a research exchange student in the Department of International History at the London School of Economics. This event is free and open to the public. The program will begin at 7:00 pm in the Lamb Room. Refreshments prior to the presentation are courtesy of New Canaan Library, a co-sponsor of the program.
