Visits to strengthen the local business community during Awareness Week
Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce
Fountain Valley, CA (September 9, 2014)—The Fountain Valley (CA) Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will be visiting businesses throughout Fountain Valley as part of the Chamber Awareness Week in October. The visits, coordinated with other activities for the Chamber Awareness Week, will focus on building strong relationships in the local business community.
“Our Ambassadors will be out talking to as many of the Fountain Valley businesses as we can to help strengthen our business community. We want to hear what they have to say, what they need, and how we can help,” said Mary Parsons, President/CEO of the Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Awareness Week kicks off on Monday, October 6, with an Open House at City Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Open House will give residents an opportunity to learn about City departments, and will also launch a city-wide Scavenger Hunt that residents of Fountain Valley can join in all week and be eligible to win prizes at the end of the week. Participants will receive a Scavenger Hunt Passport that they will use throughout the week as they visit businesses taking part in the event.
The week will conclude with a Grand Finale and BBQ Extravaganza at Fountain Bowl on Friday, October 10. Prizes from the Scavenger Hunt will be presented at the Grand Finale.
“We are looking forward to having the businesses, residents and civic leaders all working and having fun together during this week, and really telling our story of the strength of Fountain Valley through all these activities,”
