Follow on Google News | 11 Time Asian-American Jeopardy! Winner Arthur Chu Stars In Kickstarter Film Directed By USC AlumniBy: Arthur Chu Film "I feel very privileged that I have an opportunity to share with the world who Arthur is," states Scott Drucker. "He took a very non-conventional, 'game theory' approach to winning which lead him to be labeled a 'Jeopardy Bad Boy.'" Chu, who grew up in Cleveland Ohio, won nearly $300,000 and is scheduled to compete in a Jeopardy Tournament of Champions later this year. "The controversy around his personal life and what he shares with the world is his extremely opinionated political views on things such as the nerd culture's misogynistic views of women, how he perceives racial hypocrisy in American politics, as well as his initial insight about killer Elliot Rodger and the Isla Vista Shootings," states Drucker. "Here is a guy who has been able to use his 15 minutes of fame, from winning a TV game show, for a proactive and progressive social exposé." Chu has more than 14,000 followers on Facebook and his life has been featured in national and international media coverage. "Arthur thinks it's entertaining that he has become an icon in the Asian-American community," adds Drucker. "This documentary film will really go beyond the international Asian-American community and Jeopardy! fans and permeate into the hearts and minds of people everywhere." Drucker has a Master's Degree in Film from USC, has produced, directed, and been a cinematographer on various film, TV, and corporate spots for such clients as HULU, ESPN, Noci Pictures Entertainment, and VICE.
