The future looks bright for pioneering Silicon Valley based Auxenta Inc as it adds another crypto currency app to its portfolio
Auxenta Inc., an innovative software and QA engineering services and technology product consulting company headquartered in Silicon Valley with operations in Colombo, Sri Lanka, recently developed a mobile marketplace app for buying and selling Bitcoins, the leading crypto-currency.
'Bitcoin Bazaar' which Auxenta developed for Bay Area startup Bay Coins, LLC is now available for iOS and Android devices making it the first fully functional app for matching buyers and sellers of Bitcoin on both platforms. The app lets users find buyers and sellers in their neighborhood, using location services from their mobile phone, and lets buyers and sellers transact using cash without needing to enter bank or financial information into the app. Bitcoin Bazaar is available on iTunes App Store (https://play.google.com/
Auxenta has also partnered with Greencoin LLC to introduce a new crypto currency that features identity information in each transaction.
Auxenta offers highly specialized solution development, testing and cross-platform mobile app implementation services in the crypto currency space. Auxenta’s value proposition is their crypto currency solution engineering and crypto 2.0 expertise, which is available at optimum cost efficiencies.
Auxenta co founder and CTO Dr. Shahani Markus Weerawarana said, “Mobile is a natural fit for those who want to trade Bitcoins, and buying or selling with cash is still the easiest way to acquire the currency. In the past, finding someone near you to transact with wasn’t easy with mobile devices. With our recently launched app Bitcoin Bazaar for example, anyone can buy or sell Bitcoin in person easily.”
Dr. Weerawarana, a Computer Science Ph.D. from Purdue University, has over 20 years of global experience in the IT industry, e-government and academia. She was a former CTO of the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka, the first female to hold the post.
MIT and INSEAD alumnus Prasath Nanayakkara, founder and CEO of Auxenta, has an extensive track record and deep experience in delivering software solutions for Fortune 1000 companies such as Oracle, Vignette, BT, JPMC, and IBM.
"We utilize a highly successful, proven hybrid model with deeply talented remote teams and US management to build and grow successful partnerships. Basically we help companies fast track their crypto currency solutions and their crypto 2.0 concept innovations, while reducing their burn rates," said Nanayakkara.
Auxenta also understands the unique characteristics of startups, identifying with clients' needs to rapidly implement and launch their ideas. They bring to the table the ability to co-envision and expand on the startup's ideas and to translate their concepts into fully functional native mobile apps for instance, which are simultaneously available on both the iOS and Android platforms by leveraging the Titanium framework.
Today there are over 275 crypto currencies in the world with many miners, exchanges and applications that form the integral core of the crypto currency network. Crypto currencies are accepted in a number of different online marketplaces. The most widely accepted crypto currency at the moment is Bitcoin (BTC). However, a variety of alternative coin (alt- coin) marketplaces exist as well.
Nanayakkara stated that Auxenta is the first crypto currency solution provider to accept BTC or alt coins as payment for consultancy services.
