Pedego Zooms Miles Ahead With New Products

Among the many pleasures awaiting visitors at booth #5017 is the unveiling of Pedego’s new Boomerang, a bicycle that lives up to its name by making bike rides more accessible and fun for everyone. Riders know that no matter how far they bike, they’ll be able to make it home. The Boomerang’s extra-low step thru design allows more people to climb aboard and cruise the bike paths in style. This elegant new electric bike — plus a slew of enhancements to current models — demonstrate how Pedego is miles ahead when it comes to building bikes that delight their customers.

The Boomerang, available to the public in red or black, boasts a state-of-the-art lithium ion battery, a variable-speed throttle, pedal assist computer offering 5 levels of automatic assist upon pedaling, and optional mag wheels that can carry up to 450 pounds. Despite all the power, riders can pedal this bike as much as they want, using its 7-speed Shimano gearing. But when they come across hills or headwinds, the electric motor is there to help them reach their destination with a smile. Interbike’s outdoor test track — exposing riders to the desert heat — will surely prove this bike’s popularity among test riders.
