Model and Actress Bhairavi Goswami features in Kamasutra – The Poetry of Sex

MUMBAI, India - Sept. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- If Kamasutra, the word in itself, was not enough to intrigue the public, add the naïve sensuousness of Bhairavi Goswami to it. And you get an enticing visual treat in the form of a short film titled Kamasutra – The Poetry of Sex.

Bhairavi released the short-film on the popular digital platform YouTube on the Tuesday, 12th Aug’14. The short-film is directed by Surendra Hiwarale who also happens to be the cinematographer for the film. The film has already garnered a whopping more than 1 lakh views and is still counting.

Kamasutra (literally meaning the “Treatise on Pleasure”) as a subject has allured people from time immemorial. It is considered to be the bible of lovemaking and has been made into various features and short films and videos. In Kamasutra – The Poetry of Sex, Bhairavi and her co-star Anurag Sharma have shown six distinct positions of lovemaking, each more graceful than the other.

Unlike most other videos on this subject, this film beautifully presents the delicate art of lovemaking without bearing any colours of being tagged as a ‘sex video’. The audio visual treatment like the thematic background score, the ambience and even the costumes of the actors complement the elegant and exotic feel of the film.

“Filming Kamasutra was an intense 3 day workout. Being an athlete, I am extremely fit and yet while shooting I was sore. Twisting & bending my body into all kinds of positions was very difficult. It proves that men and women were much fitter in 400BC than today. It was also a revelation that love making was a science and an art that men and women made an effort to learn and practice. It's about loving every inch of yourself and your lover, about giving pleasure as well as receiving it. As they say, Sex is the best exercise for the human body” says Bhairavi.
