SHAKOPEE, Minn. - Sept. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- SHAKOPEE, MINN – September 3, 2014 -  Brookwood Community Church, a Christian church based in Shakopee, Minnesota, will host the “Peanut Butter Bowl” fun run and family event at Lion’s Park in Shakopee. The event on September 14th, 2014 will include a 5k fun run along a local course, picnic, and opportunity to play flag football.

“We are excited to partner with Good to Go Kids to support their mission of providing food and school supplies to needy Minnesota children,” says Rob O’Neal, senior pastor at Brookwood Community Church. “We invite the community of Shakopee to join us for a day of fun family activities.”

The family event will be begin at 4 pm on September 14th, 2014 at Lion’s Park in Shakopee, Minn.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch as well as a jar of peanut butter for Shakopee’s Good to Go Kids program, which sends food home with kids in need on the weekends.
