RALEIGH, N.C. - Sept. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Devdutta Sangvai, M.D., MBA, associate chief medical officer of Duke University Health System and president of the North Carolina Medical Society, will co-deliver the 2014 Innovate Work Summit keynote on “Winning With New Models of Care” alongside Tracy Baker, mid south president, Aetna. The event takes place Friday, Sep. 12, 2014 at the Institute of Emerging Issues, located on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, and includes leaders and professionals representing private industry, government, healthcare and higher education.

As the associate chief medical officer of Duke University Health Systems, executive director of Duke Connected Care, medical director of DukeWELL and president of the North Carolina Medical Society, Dr. Sangvai and the Duke team are overseeing a rapid transformation to integrative models designed to improve the health and well-being of health consumers, that strives to transform medicine and health by identifying and implementing leading methods for providing world-class patient-centered integrative care.

The explosion of new data resources, collaborative partnerships, emerging technologies, and inspiring research advances have marked a turning point in history for driving innovation and transforming health in unprecedented ways that will improve access, delivery and outcomes for high-quality, cost-effective care.
