The Positive Arts Movement's 'Hip Hop Stand Up' Added To Programming During The 2014 A3C Festival

ATLANTA - Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- The A3C features over 500 performances in five days from some of Hip-Hop’s most promising and renowned artists & DJs from across the world. This year's A3C festival will host 50+ showcases across the metro Atlanta area. Showcases are curated by brands, organizations, and influencers representing the greater Hip-Hop community.

Since 2010, the A3C has produced a series of panels and discussions on a variety of topics fostering conversation and interaction with some of the most influential people in the industry.

This year, "Hip Hop Stand Up"--a panel discussion complimented by related hip hop performances--will be delivered by Atlanta's Positive Arts Movement.  Reggie "Love" Cason and Angela "AC" Carswell are the confirmed moderators.  Topics include the state of the female emcee, civil rights and hip hop, the laws of hip hop and other topics.

Panelists include Dr. Adia Winfrey, recording artists Noxx, Nehzahr, Stic.Man, Sash La'ki, Trav'Sty, and A Lady Named Pearl, industry mogul Terry Moorer, and Attorney William Bodie.  Grammy Award-winning producer, songwriter and arranger, Carvin Haggins' concept "Rage Against The Ratchet", an initiative formed to build awareness about the current violent and sexually explicit songs on urban radio stations will be showcased.
