Sept. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- SUMMERVILLE, SC, SEPT. 1—Traveling across the United States hasn't kept fantasy author, M. Dylan Blair, from her first love which is writing. If anything, it's only helped spur her creativity. It was in late 2012, when she was pregnant with her first child, that the idea for FALL FROM PARADISE began. “I was sitting there at work, and I thought of what it would be like to wake up in middle of the night and find a strange man in your room watching you sleep. The clinch was that he wasn't a murderer but in fact needed Amelia's help. What would you do? I mean, what would anybody do?”

The first novel in THE GENESIS TRILOGY is a Verne-esque array of the decisions we make and how far those ramifications stretch. Amelia Strauss drops out of law school with a cancer diagnosis and a manic-depressive angel for a stalker. One seemingly innocuous decision begins a game of cat-and-mouse that takes the readers Dante-style through Heaven and Hell. Cosmologists, theologians, and lovers of the supernatural-alike will find something in Blair's debut work.

“They say that authors have to have a niche,” Blair says, “and I always mistakenly thought that fantasy was my niche. But I was wrong; it's the wormholes the characters jump through, the gods they meet, and the darkness inside all of us that they must face.”

M. Dylan Blair resides in Summerville, SC, with her husband and son where she is working on the second book in THE GENESIS TRILOGY, EAST OF EDEN. The first book in her NINE WORLDS SAGA, BURNING EDEN, is expected to release early Winter 2014.
