The Morris County Arts Workshop presents Three Women Art Show and Women of the World in September
The Hive in Chester, NJ, will be buzzing in September with a special Three Women - Three Perspectives Art Show running through the 27th and a musical performance by the acclaimed Women of the World on September 19th.
What’s more, on Friday, September 19, 2014, the internationally acclaimed Women of the World, a Boston-based collective of women musicians from around the world, will present a special performance at the Hive’s Music Café beginning at 7 p.m. Hailing from Japan, India, Italy, Haiti, Mexico, and the United States, the core singers and their eclectic band will present original and traditional folk music in over 17 languages from across the globe.
These are just a few of the series of art shows and musical performances the non-profit organization, which brings after-school art, music, language arts, and cultural programs to youth and seniors in Chester, Mendham, Mt. Olive and surrounding areas, continues to host at its storefront location.
“All summer we have been so fortunate to not only offer a wonderful array of art and music classes and summer camp for our students, but also amazing art and music performances,”
The three artists in the art show include:

She studied with renowned modernists Knox Martin and Peter Golfinopoulos. Her work is represented by New Century Artists Gallery in NYC, Riverside Studio in Pottersville, NJ, Connextions in Easton, PA, the Long Beach Island Arts Foundation in LBI, NJ, and the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, NJ, as well as private collections.
