Author/Playwright Stephanie Singleton Campaigns for New Book & Film
GoFundMe fundraiser to secure funding for new novel and film duo
Singleton has a fundraiser in place to secure the cost of publication and production on this dual project. The success of this campaign will help make publishing of this novel and filming of the accompanying short film possible. She said the symbolical title derives from platonic relationships transitioning into sexual. Often times when emotional involvement intensifies, it forces the dynamics of expectations to change.
A professional, highly relatable main character, Mya, is a composite of women that Singleton has come across as a life observer, hair stylist, news/social media junkie and fellow female friendships. Singleton shares that, many women will to relate to Mya’s struggles, domestic affairs and uncanny decisions kony however through it all Mya is a survivor,” she states. As she details, this book and film are for mature readers and females who struggle with identifying unhealthy relationships.
This thought-provoking, sometimes funny, heart-tugging duel production is expected to be released by late December 2014.
In support of its Crowdfunding campaign, Stephanie Singleton is committed to:
Securing cover design, editing, proofreading and formatting for the book

Securing camera, lighting and sound equipment crew
Obtain hair and make-up personnel for filming site
