New Video Production Company ArcSky wins city of Pueblo Colorado Video Contest
Ex Los Angeles video producer John Quintana wins Pueblo Colorado video contest.
Intrigued I engaged in conversation with this young 24 year old fellow. I was inspired he had just moved back to his home state from Los Angeles California where he previously owned a production company. I asked why LA to here in Pueblo. John simply replied, "affordable oppertunity"
John said "there's less competition, its cheaper to live while I finish my education, and it looks like this area can use some professional marketing". I was surprised to learn that John was attending school for Business Finance and not a degree in Mass Comm which is more related to what he was doing on the Riverwalk that day, intruiged I had to learn why.
John responded "a mass comm degree would not benefit me as much as a business degree would. Ultimately my goal is to own a successfull video production business, and I have more experience on major motion picture film sets, than a Mass Comm degree can really teach me. What Im more interested in is the business side of it, I figure I have the talent and the creativeness to create video, I would rather pay for an education that will teach me something about making my business more successful."
John told me about his business ArcSky. The name sounded cool, and the logo was just gorgeous. He films weddings and literally makes them look like Hollywood movies. He has insane film equipment that looks like alien technology. His commercials for local business's are just beautiful.
After my interview several weeks later, I recieved word John and ArcSky won the video constest. I wasnt surprised at all. We are all proud of John and his talent to showcase Pueblo Colorado as a beautiful little town. Take a look at ArcSky's video.
