Barrows’ poetry is easy to read, easy to understand and very entertaining. Some of the poems have a serious bent, and those poems are easy to read as well.

The word “Crazy Robert” refers to his sign name in American Sign Language. The poems are a collection of poems that cover many different topics from love and sex, to life and death, to war and peace, to thoughts about the origin of the universe, and there is also a hysterical piece called “She Funks Like an Aerobics Instructor.” (You can even work out to it, too-2-3-4.)

In addition to writing poetry, Robert Barrows is the President of R.M. Barrows, Inc. Advertising & Public Relations in San Mateo, California.

He is also a sculptor, songwriter and inventor.
