Local Annual Fundraiser Set to Kick-Off Friday, September 12
Annual “Big Band Bash” Event Supports Music Time Learning Center
Far from the typical black-tie, sit-down affair, MTLC’s annual fundraiser will once again be a festive event full of musical merriment and entertainment plus a wide variety of raffle and silent auction goodies from which to engage in a bidding war. Guests are encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops to this year’s beach themed event.
“We are so fortunate and blessed to have the support of our local community,” explains MTLC Executive Director Mary Beth Frasier. “When we began Music Time 10 years ago, we had no idea the need or impact music education would have on the families around us. Since we opened our doors, we have impacted the lives of over 2,000 children with music education. These children come to us with a wide range of developmental abilities. We exist because of the support we receive from those who believe in what we are doing year after year through events such as Big Band Bash. ”
The event is targeted to raise more than $12,000 to support key center initiatives next year such as Raising Musical Children, a program that provides free music classes in preschools and daycares; Kindermusik®;
