Isha Center's World Peace Day Event Attracts US Leaders in Policy, Health, Environment & the Arts

Compassionately crafted from this perspective, the day-long World Peace Day event not only provides a platform for thought leaders from diverse fields to discuss the most pressing issues impacting humanity, but also creates an environment and an opportunity to experience peace within and outside oneself through creative expression, celebration, and meditation in a tranquil, idyllic natural setting.
Headlining the day's events are enlightening talks with prominent speakers, including author, attorney and environmentalist Max Kennedy, NY Times best-selling author and Functional Medicine physician, Mark Hyman, MD, and Isha founder, yogi and visionary humanitarian, Sadhguru. Together, they will discuss the vital elements of cultivating an inner and outer atmosphere of peace.
Other highlights include a lively student scholarship competition in public speaking and music composition designed to give voice to future leaders and peace advocates, colorful multi-cultural music and dance performances, and an upbeat live concert by Indie-folk pop band Wild Child. Talented young magician Collins Key of America’s Got Talent fame will also take the stage to delight and amaze guests with a special performance.
