HOUSTON - Aug. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- On July 18, 2014, 17-year-old Kahlil Brown was found shot dead in the Greenspoint Mall parking lot. Mr. Brown was found around 12:20 a.m. after witnesses heard several gunshots and saw a man running from the scene of the shooting. The shooting occurred in the parking lot in front of the Premier Theater. Mr. Brown had just left the movies when his life was tragically taken.

Kahlil Brown was a 17-year-old junior at Alief High School. Mr. Brown was a varsity football player and had a bright future as a collegiate athlete. Mr. Brown was a 6’5”, 220-pound defensive end and was likely to play college football with professional football potential. Mr. Brown was a great kid and lived with his mother, Marian Gayles.

The Webster Law Firm now has the honor of representing Ms. Gayles against Greenspoint Mall for the loss of her son, Kahlil Brown.

This is not the first incident at Greenspoint Mall. In fact, the Greenspoint area is notoriously known for its violence and earned itself the nicknames “Gunspoint” and “Gangspoint” for the frequent crimes that have occurred. Mr. Brown has become the latest victim of the violence ridden area of Houston, Texas. Due to the lack of security and safety protocols, Mr. Brown unnecessarily lost his life.

The Webster Law Firm seeks to bring justice for the wrongful taking of Mr. Brown’s life and ensure that no other families and mothers have to suffer. While there is an ongoing criminal investigation, The Webster Law Firm is conducting its own investigation as to who is responsible for the death of Mr. Brown.
