Crystle Stewart ties the knot in elegant ceremony

MISSOURI CITY, Texas - Aug. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- It was the fairy tale wedding of the year for family and friends – complete with prince and princess  – as Crystle Stewart, Miss USA 2008 and cast member on Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse”, tied the knot with beau, Maxime Sebrechts, in an elegant ceremony in Spring, Texas.

Belgian-born Sebrechts, an international model, dated Stewart for 3 years before popping the question on Labor Day of last year after flying Stewart in by helicopter to her family’s Missouri City home for a surprise proposal.

Less than a year later, family and friends gathered to witness the couple's nuptials on Aug. 9 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in a ceremony presided over by Very Rev. Norbert Maduzia, Jr., E.V., D.MIN.

Dr. Michael P. Williams, Stewart's childhood pastor, gave the Homily and Genesis Church co-founder, Taylor Dimes, Jr. shared in ceremonial readings, with songs performed by The Voices of Genesis Choir.

The intimate gathering included movie mogul, Tyler Perry, along with several of Stewart's "For Better or Worse" castmates, who shared in the couple's special day.

Stewart was exquisite in a strapless wedding gown and jeweled bridal veil and necklace fit for a princess as her father Robert Stewart III escorted her down the aisle.

The wedding party included parents, Robert and Cynthia Stewart and Tony and Martine Sebrechts; matrons of honor, Akwanza Watson and Ja'Nayle Jones; maid of honor, Candice Henderson; and Best Men, David De Vroey and Nicolas De Keijser accompanied by an exquisitely-clad host of attendants.

The occasion also marked the wedding anniversary of Stewart's parents.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds invited family and friends to celebrate the occasion at the Chateau Cocomar, a stately and elegant event venue in the Champion Forest area.

Guests were wined and dined and danced the night away in celebration of the couple's new beginning.

The couple has plans to reside in Los Angeles.
