WASHINGTON - Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- The Howard University Alumni Association (HUAA) will launch a series of virtual Town Hall Meetings this week to address alumni concerns, share progress and updates, and foster positive communication. "While HUAA hosted the first official Town Hall Meeting at Howard University last year, this series is a concerted effort to have consistent and productive interactions with alumni on a regular basis," explains Chris Washington (B.A., ’92). Washington, who was re-elected for a second term this summer, wants to expand the conversation with Howard University alumni to continue improving communication, gain feedback, and resolve issues in a "positive, constructive atmosphere."

The first of four quarterly Town Hall Meetings takes place on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. ET. President Washington encourages alumni to join the call to get updates related to the recent appointment of Howard University President, Dr. Wayne Frederick and alumni support of the upcoming AT&T Nation’s Classic Football Game in Washington, DC. Most important, he will spend the vast majority of the Town Hall answering questions from alumni.

Howard University alumni may submit questions by emailing prior to the Town Hall. Use #HUAATownHall to follow the conversation on social media, or post questions via Twitter and Facebook @TheHUAA.
