Double Ended LED Tube VS Single Ended LED Tube

Led tube are a better choice than those traditional light sources that we all use before. How? Today introduce two ways of using LED tubes to replace old fluorescent tubes.

First, check your old fluorescent tube is double ended power or just single ended power. This is important.

If your old fluorescent tube is double ended power, under is introduction of installation for tubes double ended power.

Step 1: Cut off the power for traditional tubes (Note:As just turn off switch for not sure power totally off from the lighting fixture, we suggest removing the fuse or cut off the circuit interrupter)   Step2: Remove the traditional tube from the holder.

Step3:For replacing original tube, open the cover of the tube holder, seeing the wire connected situation in holder, remove the starter and ballast.

Step4: Put the cover back to the holder, and then install LED tube into the holder, connect two wires to LED tube.

If your old fluorescent tube is single ended power, under is its installation instruction:

1.The steps of inductive fluorescent T8 tube with holder：

Step one: Shut off the power supply, removal of fluorescent lamp.

Step two: Remove the starter.

Step three: Install short circuit device, instead of the starter.

Step four: Installation of the LED lamp replacement.

2. The steps of Electronic fluorescent T8 tube with holder：

Step one: Shut off the power supply, removal of fluorescent lamp.

Step two : Removal of electronic ballasts, connecting wire into a single ended power supply.

Step three : Installation of the LED lamp replacement.
