DILI, Timor-Leste - Aug. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- The website was created by a group of young Portuguese and Timorese entrepreneurs with the main objective of promoting East Timor as an ideal destination, putting it on the map for potential visitors to Southeast Asia!


Being one of the youngest countries in the world, only 12 years from its self-proclaimed independence, East Timor is an island with a lot to offer, untouched beauty, unique wildlife, years of culture and delicious food! Plus is well off the beaten track. The people of Timor (Timorense) are just marvelous and love to welcome foreigners - since they don’t get that many that often.


The website is aimed at launching East Timor online, providing the resources and information for travelers from all nations that wish to come to the country. The content varies from places to stay, tips, best places to eat and activities such as snorkeling and diving. Although still in its infancy the content will be updated on a daily basis to ensure we provide details for the multiple regions and what they have to offer.
