AGK9 Training Introduces One-To-One Security Dog Handler Training in Sussex

HAILSHAM, U.K. - Aug. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- AlphaGuardK9 and AGK9 Training provide professional security services throughout the UK and security training courses based on their 33-acre training ground in Sussex. Having provided Security Dog Handler training in small groups for several years, the company has recently experienced an increase of interest in private tuition.

The 'EDI Level 2 - General Purpose Security Dog Handler' is the entry level qualification to work with a security dog in the UK and ensures trainees have the knowledge, confidence and ability provide a professional level of service. It is beneficial, but not essential, for trainees to have experience as Security Officers (SIA Licensed) before beginning the course.

The new one-to-one training courses, run by professional dog handler and owner of the company, Liam Hastings, are designed to help trainees benefit from faster progress and increased learning. The constant attention of the trainer ensures more intensive and therefore quicker learning, focusing on the skills required without waiting for other attendees to catch up or complete practical tasks. Individual training often results in completing additional course modules, usually covered in the 'EDI Level 3' course, and gaining the increased professionalism that will ensure a successful career as a Security Dog Handler.

All AGK9 Training courses for security dogs and handlers are NTIPDU and EDI (ASET) accredited.

'EDI Level 2' training can be arranged in one continuous 6 day course or at convenient intervals over several days or weeks, subject to Liam’s availability.

The training ground offers private car parking on-site. Attendees can work with a professionally trained security dog from the AGK9 Training team or their recently refurbished kennels offer a convenient temporary home for your dog (at extra cost) on course dates, if required.
