Tea Party Express Founder Blasts Tea Party

Asks: Where is my Tea Party in Ferguson? Why are they not standing for freedom against Third World armed police? Too busy making money?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Aug. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Opposition to overbearing  government regulation, over-taxation, unconstitutional government spending, out of control public debt and the socialist agenda of the American progressive movement – newly energized at the time by Barack Hussein Obama – was the genesis of the Tea Party in 2009 (as it was in Massachusetts in 1979 to fight a state legislative pay raise and in 1989 to fight a federal legislative pay raise, all descendant of the Revolution.)   The underlying theme, when in February 2009 Amy Kremer gathered citizens in Atlanta and I in Sacramento, along with others in cities across the nation was that of the growing threat to our liberty from within, from our own government.

The events in Ferguson are a chilling confirmation of our fears as we see now a fusion of Sheriff Bull Connor’s 1963 Birmingham, Tiananmen Square and Barney Fife with deadly toys play out and just the visible tip of the iceberg.

Shockingly, conservatives and news outlets such as Fox News are cheerleading for armed tyranny.  Journalists have been gassed, arrested and live broadcasts shut down in a display of Third World strong armed goonism that even the Russian government decries.   We have seen these images play out before. They are recent history, in failed and dying totalitarian regimes around the world.

Lt.  Ray Albers, the cop now famous for waving his AR-15 around at peaceful bystanders and reporters in Ferguson, while vowing to “f**king kill you!” has come to symbolize just how far we have fallen.  We allow this while pretending that a bunch of savages in the deserts of the Middle East and hordes of people, invited by our corrupt government and corporate masters, pouring across our porous southern border are all that threatens us.  That media obsession over Obama playing golf and whether or not Michael Brown assaulted a cop are greater issues than the emerging of a dystopian, Third World, militarized, surveillance society in America is symptomatic of how badly our media has been compromised.

Joseph Stalin and Birmingham, Alabama Sheriff Bull Conner are I am sure smugly smiling from Hell as surly as is George Orwell horrified in Heaven. Those who stood with Amy and me in 2009 should be with Orwell but apparently are not.  Yet this is exactly what the Tea Party was founded to oppose, and is the foretold last stop before the bottom of the slippery slope that we and generations of conservatives (including the Founders) warned we would reach if not vigilant.

It is time to create armed parity between free citizens and the police, either by arming us or disarming the police to our level as well as standing against unconstitutional government, the courts be damned.  Otherwise there is no point to secure borders or any war on terror.  But more importantly, where is my Tea Party?  Too busy monetizing people's patriotism and fears perhaps?
