Late Summer Mountain Harvest Weeks at Clyde’s Farm

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. - Aug. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- CLARK, Colo. — To celebrate the inaugural harvest of Clyde’s Farm and Farm Kitchen, The Home Ranch has announced Mountain Harvest Weeks, showcasing a select group of Colorado’s great food artisans, craft brewers, boutique distillers and talented vintners. This Colorado Dude Ranch has created three uniquely-themed, late summer vacation packages offering special cooking classes, dinners and events centered around featured crafts of the week.

The farm came to fruition after General Manager and Executive Chef Clyde Nelson spent three years creating an on-site, organic farm that embodies The Home Ranch founders’ vision. Dedicated to the “locavore movement”, this farm will produce local, sustainable and high-quality livestock and vegetables. They want the farm to become a community classroom for the farm-to-table movement and a place that keeps the historical and agricultural traditions of Routt County alive.

This August and September, The Home Ranch will open its doors and open-air kitchen to handpicked Colorado companies that will entertain and educate guests with parties, workshops, demos, pairings, summer activities and gourmet dinners. Guests can choose from three adult-only vacation packages, each featuring specific vendors.
