White water rafting consists of navigating a stretch of water on an inflatable raft. Trips generally last about 5-7 hours, including lunch. No experience necessary on milder sections of river – such as the Upper New River. The ability to swim is not required, but it is helpful. Each guest is provided with all the necessary safety equipment: a Coast Guard approved Type V Life Jacket, Paddle, and Helmet.
