PRLog -- As a former elemenetary school teacher for sixteen years, and a Master's of Education degree, you can tell that children have been a part of Alva's life for a long time. Continuing to stay connected with children, she began writing her first book in 2007 and founded her own company, Three Wishes Publishing Company.
Since then she has published four award winning books:
Circus Fever, I'm 5,
Dear Master Dragon, and On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!. Alva has had wonderful opportunites to appear at Barnes & Noble Booksellers across southern California, schools, libraries, book festivals, and community gatherings.
She is currently the President of Reading Is Foundamental of Southern California. This nonprofit literacy organization has been helping children with literacy nationally and regionallty by providing free books through schools who qualify for their program.
