MILWAUKEE - Aug. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Milwaukee— August 16, 2014 — “Uplifting Women in Milwaukee,” at a location (to be publicly announced) on September 8th, 2014 in Milwaukee, Yesterday Girl, Today’s Woman  announced immediate availability for its October event, enabling business owners, sponsors, and volunteers an opportunity to contribute.

“Uplifting Women in Milwaukee,” is an overdue opportunity for women to be encouraged by other women.” This quarterly event will present the following activities: health screenings & awareness, highlighting moment for (women in business), community resource (feature), boutique shopping, live entertainment, and special guest presenters.”

Founded in 2014, Yesterday Girl, Today’s Woman  is a philanthropic project in honor of Patricia Ann Lawrence, former RN at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee.

“I know if my mom was not ill she’d be on the forefront of this humanitarian project, I dedicate every footstep to her,” said Ms. Lawrence- organizer.
