NYLCV Endorses Rodneyse Bichotte For Assembly

NEW YORK - Aug. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- NEW YORK --- The New York League of Conservation Voters, which works to make environmental sustainability a top political and policy priority in New York State, has announced its endorsement of Rodneyse Bichotte for New York’s Assembly District 42.

With a strong background in finance and business development, Rodneyse Bichotte has a strong desire to green her Brooklyn district. As a Board member of Habitat for Humanity in New York City and as former Vice President of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking Technology at Bank of America Securities, Bichotte plans on using her expertise in finance and her environmental advocacy to advance a sustainability agenda that benefits all New Yorkers at all income levels. Bichotte has also been a strong supporter of environmental justice initiatives during her tenure as District Leader, including introducing more greenery in her area.

If elected, Bichotte has pledged to build more affordable, green housing; establish educational programs to encourage residents to eat healthy and sustainably; and support the cleanup of contaminated sites that are often located in low-income communities and communities of color.
