Recognized as a diverse and international city, Houston has a large population of Africans, people of African descent, and African fashion enthusiasts. The Houston Metropolitan Area is home to the fourth largest city in America. “The rich cultural diversity of Houston is why it’s so important to be a part of African Fashion Week Houston. We plan to showcase a sample of our ethnic inspired evening gowns, African bride and groom’s attire embellished with embroidery, crystals and fashion jewelry. We have an extensive collection of multi-cultural clothing for men, women and children made with jacquard, satin, george, kente, Aso-Oke, brocade and embroidered laces sourced globally.” notes Designer Kimma Wreh of TeKay Designs.
