Local London, Kentucky Resident Debuts Children’s Book: Basketball Dreams & Bluegrass Prayers

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Aug. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA, August 11, 2014 – Angie Fischer, Kentucky native, has released her debut children’s book Basketball Dreams & Bluegrass Prayers. Fischer will read and sign copies of her new book at the Carnegie Center for Literacy in Lexington, Kentucky on August 23, 2014 at 11:00a.m.

Basketball Dreams & Bluegrass Prayers is a rhyming style picture book chronicling the journey of the Massey Family and their reliance on prayer during their son’s battle with an operable brain tumor and the young boy’s dream to attend the University of Kentucky. A portion of the book's proceeds will benefit the Kevin Massey Scholarship Fund.
